Iglidur® Q290 | medium to high loads, especially on soft shafts
iglidur® Q290 shows excellent service life in robust swivel applications, such as those frequently encountered in agricultural machinery, especially on “soft” shafts (e.g. galvanized). The stress on the shafts is also minimal.

iglidur® J200 | Specifically for aluminium shafts
iglidur® J200 is the result of the development of particularly low-friction materials. When using it in linear motion, friction can be critical. Many materials can give low coefficients of friction under high loads, but this material can give excellent coefficients of friction even at low loads.

iglidur H5 was developed especially for use in corrosive environments in which high edge pressures and impact loads also occur.


The special feature of iglidur AX500 is that it is a conductive material. In addition, AX500 has an even lower wear value than its predecessor. The material was developed especially for the food industry and can therefore be used in contact with food without any problems.

High abrasion resistance at low surface speeds 


Easy-to-process, abrasion-resistant filament - suitable for food contactiglidur i150 is characterised by high wear resistance, as the material is enriched with solid lubricants. It can be processed just as easily as standard PLA and PETG filaments. Due to its high wear resistance and good mechanical properties (strength, toughness, layer adhesion), it is an all-rounder material that is suitable for most applications and 3D printers. This makes it by far the most frequently used igus filament. There are restrictions only in terms of the maximum permanent application temperature of 65°C and for highly dynamic applications.Furthermore, it is suitable for food contact due to the conformity according to EU 10/2011 and is therefore ideal in applications in the food and packaging industry.  


iglidur® F2 | ESD-suitable, wear-resistant and dissipative
iglidur® F2 helps to avoid electrostatic charging. Good media and temperature resistance, suitable even in wet conditions due to low moisture absorption and good universal wear values in a wide range of applications.

iglidur RW370 is an abrasion-resistant, high-temperature tribofilament which was specifically developed for use in railway vehicles. As such, its fire-retardant specifications conform to UL94-V0 and EN45545. In addition, it has the maximum mechanical strength of all tribofilaments and a long-term temperature resistance of 170 °C, which makes it the material of choice for high-temperature applications.

iglidur® T220 | For the tobacco industry, FDA-compliant
iglidur® T220 is a special material for use in the tobacco processing industry. It fulfills the requirements of the tobacco industry (engineering database). The material is free of undesirable or prohibited ingredients, as required by renowned manufacturers of tobacco products as of 2004, and contains no carcinogenic additives such as PTFE.

iglidur® J2 has a good universal media resistance comparable to iglidur® J and similar materials. The mechanical specifications in sporadically moving applications are better, but in comparison there are significant reductions in friction and wear. Like all iglidur® materials, iglidur® J2 is PFOA-free.

Easy-to-process, abrasion-resistant filament for the printing of food grade components in blueThe iglidur i151 tribofilament is suitable for components with high wear resistance, as the material is filled with solid lubricants. It was specifically developed for use in the food and packaging industry: the printed components are compliant to FDA and EU Regulation 10/2011 and the blue colour ensures the required optical detectability. iglidur i151 is also an all-rounder material, and due to its good mechanical properties (strength, toughness, layer adhesion) it is suitable for most applications. iglidur i151 has comparable mechanical specifications as iglidur i150, by far the most frequently used igus filament. There are restrictions in terms of the maximum permanent application temperature of 65°C and for highly dynamic applications.

For applications with low or medium surface speeds (safe up to 0.2 m/s, test for higher speeds)

Bearings of so-called tracking systems in photovoltaic systems defy particularly adverse environmental conditions. iglidur P UV was developed for this area of application. The special composition ensures high resistance to ultraviolet rays and ensures that components made of iglidur P UV function for a particularly long time and with the least possible loss of strength. 


iglidur® D | Low-cost material with silicone
In the development of iglidur® D, a very low price was at the top of the requirement profile. In particular, low coefficient of friction was required at high speeds in dry operation. This material containing silicone achieves low coefficient of friction in dry operation and runs with virtually no stick-slip.

iglidur A350 is an abrasion-resistant, high-temperature filament developed for the food and packaging industry. As such, the raw material is compliant with EU 10/2011 and FDA food contact regulations and has the industry standard blue colour. It is temperature-resistant up to 180 °C, fire-retardant according to UL94-V0 and can be sterilised with superheated steam.
Tip: iglidur A350 complies with the fire prevention requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration of the USA (FAA) for aircraft interiors

For applications in the food industry with high application temperatures of up to 180 °C

 iglidur® H3 | Tough, wear-resistant, durable
With iglidur® H3 there is a new material in the iglidur H family. H3 sets new standards with its high durability. This material is tougher than comparable materials and achieves a longer service life than iglidur H1. iglidur H3 was developed primarily for use in pumps and demanding media and shines with its low moisture absorption.

iglidur® A200 is suitable for use in direct contact with food. It is the ideal solution for bearing points on machines for the food industry, medical equipment manufacturing, small household appliances, etc. Since the addition of solid lubricants had to be dispensed with to ensure food compatibility, iglidur® A200 is specially designed for abrasion resistance. Additionally, the iglidur® A200 is characterised by its ability to embed dirt and by its quiet operation.

The self-lubricating material iglidur® M250 is particularly characterized by impact strength, vibration damping and wear resistance. iglidur M260 was specially developed for use in harsh environments. Selective laser sintering (SLS) material: iglidur i6-BLUE
The iglidur i6-BLUE material, developed for laser sintering, is specifically intended for use as a worm wheel, and for food contact. The tests in the igus test laboratory showed a longer service life than for conventionally milled gears - e.g. POM - This significantly increases flexibility in the design of components, because the laser sintering process eliminates the need for tooling and therefore special parts can be manufactured efficiently with no minimum order quantity. Furthermore, iglidur i6-BLUE is ideal for snap-on connections due to the higher elongation at break.

In the development of iglidur® R, the focus was on high performance and a very low price. In particular, low friction and wear values were to be achieved in dry running. Components made of iglidur® R are specifically supported by a combination of solid lubricants. The PTFE and silicone-free material achieves outstandingly low friction values in dry running and runs largely stick-slip-free.

iglidur® AB helps to reduce the level of bacterial contamination in bearing points that are difficult to access. iglidur® AB was specifically developed for applications in areas with high hygiene requirements. The material reduces the level of bacterial contamination but - like all &#34;anti-bacterial&#34; materials - is not a substitute for adequate hygienic measures.

Selective laser sintering (SLS) material: iglidur i3
The iglidur i3 material, specially developed for laser sintering, showed an abrasion resistance 3 to 30 times better than conventional materials for laser sintering in the tribological tests in the igus® test laboratory. As a result, the degrees of freedom are further increased when designing wear-stressed sliding components. It is used for  all  sliding applications, as well as rollers, racks, spur gears and bevel gears.

When components with high mechanical strength are required, in particular spur gears, bevel gears, drive nuts, special slides and spherical bearings
