Dişli kayış tahrikli lineer eksenler birçok konumlandırma ve ayarlama görevi için uygundur. Plastik ve alüminyumdan yapılmış hafif tasarım sayesinde, dişli kayış tahrikli igus lineer eksenler, düşük kütle ataletleri nedeniyle çok verimlidir.
