drylin® lead screw technology as well as dryspin® technology are based on the principle of lubrication-free linear technology. With specifications and shapes matching the polymer nut and lead screw, drylin® lead screw technology and dryspin® technology guarantee an even longer service life and higher efficiency.
Reduce time spent on design and optimise the procurement process. Trapezoidal, high helix, and metric threads are available in more than 5,000 variants in the standard product range directly from stock. In addition, you can configure your special solution simply and quickly online.
I am familiar with the igus drylin® lead screw technology and know the required specifications of my product.
I would like to configure my individual lead screw system conveniently online and calculate the service life.
I am not sure which drylin® lead screw technology products to choose and need information.
I would like to learn more about the fields of application and use of drylin lead screw technology.

The patented dryspin high helix thread technology was developed by igus in 2015 and offers numerous advantages compared to conventional high helix threads. Due to the flat thread angle, they convert the exerted power efficiently into a translational movement. With properties and shapes matching the plastic nut and lead screw, dryspin thereby provides an even longer service life and more efficiency for high helix threads. Due to the rounded tooth geometry, the contact area between lead screw and nut is reduced, and the lead systems operate quietly and without vibration under load.
The larger spaces between the individual dryspin threads result in a higher share (factor 1.3) of tribologically optimised polymer in the threads. More wear-resistant material and higher levels of efficiency are crucial for a service life that is up to five times longer compared to conventional high helix threads.

Our lead screw drives require not a drop of lubricating oil. Not only our users, but also the environment profits from this. In addition, our tribologically optimised materials produce less abrasion, as a result of which less energy is needed.
