Sailing technology

Pontos winches are applied on sailing boats. The automatic four-speed winches replace two winch sizes. This makes sailing faster and simpler: High mechanical resistance, tensile force from 850 to 1,500 kg, seawater resistant, isolation of the electrical components. The winch needs to operate trouble-free in spite of high temperature fluctuations (-20° C + 70° C), and shall be of course maintenance-free. Installed are bearings from igus® - especially from the iglidur® program.
