The E4/00 system (pronounced E4 hundred), the most versatile of the E4 chains, is a safe choice for most applications (for travels > 200m and for "laterally unsupported installation", use E4/4). The "inner plate - outer plate" principle makes installation and removal easy. Design measures, such as the brake in the stop-dog, greatly reduce operating noises.
