Compact raising

Lifting system

The lifting system "Spiralift" is used in theatres and concert halls all over the world to raise and lower parts of the stage, for example. Since space is always tight under the stage and distances of more than 9 metres have to be covered, the data and power cables have to be routed very carefully. This is achieved using igus® e-chains® which are housed compactly in narrow metal containers.
